Day 01: Varanasi
The guests first on their arrival shall be welcomed while following the most over- whelming Indian fashion of hospitality. Both the parties shall be welcomed by our representative at their advent with the ritual of anointing the forehead with vermillion paste (Tilak) and garlands symbolic of wishes for a pleasant stay in the country.
Following the planned Khajuraho wedding itinerary the guests including the bride and groom shall be transferred to the hotel in Khajuraho, the capital city of the Chandela kings. With the famous temples of the city serving as backdrop wedding itinerary in Khajuraho shall then include refreshing, non- alcoholic drinks served to the guests.
The world heritage sight of the temples of Khajuraho, famous for their erotic art forms shall be the perfect setting for organizing one’s wedding in exotic locales in India. The guests then shall be escorted by our Help Desk to their respective rooms in the Radisson Hotel Khajuraho. A sumptuous dinner shall be provided in the hotel which shall be followed by a performance of “Dances of India” at the Main Temple in Khajuraho for concluding the grand dinner in an ethnic way.
Day 02 :
This day of your Khajuraho wedding itinerary shall commence with an elaborate breakfast served at the hotel which shall be followed by a visit to the nearby Western group of temples. The guests shall be provided with the option of wedding in the temples as well. These temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain saints.
The temple planned to serve as the wedding venue is Chausath Yogini Temple, this temple is with an 11 headed statue of Lord Vishnu depicts his ten incarnations. The temple is one of the main temples of Khajuraho and hence is selected for solemnizing your wedding in typical Hindu manner.
Both the parties shall be transferred to this temple at 4 p.m. in the evening. Here the groom’s party shall be welcomed by the bride’s party and the common rituals of wedding then shall take place in a beautiful Mandap elegantly decorated with flowers. The wedding rituals shall first include the Varmala, exchanging of garlands which shall be followed by performing Saptpadi which shall tie the pious knot of wedding.
The couple shall then receive the blessings of parents and shall then proceed back to hotel. Our wedding planner then shall make all the arrangements for a gala dinner organized at the hotel for a post wedding celebration.
Day 3 Khajuraho-Varanasi
On the third day of your Khajuraho wedding itinerary our wedding planner shall make all the arrangements most meticulously for a grand post wedding celebration. The post wedding celebration as planned under your exotic Indian wedding shall commence in the bright sunny day.
The guests then shall arrive at Khajuraho airport from where they shall board the flight to Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the most important pilgrimage sites and major tourist attraction in India hence, a visit to the place post your wedding is believed to be peaceful experience.
Day 04: Varanasi
On the final day of Khajuraho itinerary the guests shall be provided an early morning boat ride on the waters of the sacred River Ganga with an astounding scenario of morning ritual on the banks of the river. The guests shall be provided an opportunity to witness the incredible scene of morning worship when multitudes of devotees offer their homage to the Sun God on the banks of River Ganga.
The tour to Varanasi shall bring a visit to the Bharat Mata Temple, the Banaras Hindu University and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb built at the side of an ancient Hindu temple. The guests shall be served a sumptuous dinner at the Varanasi hotel as they stay here for an overnight stay.
Varanasi- Delhi- Departure :
This spiritually uplifting sight surely will bequeath the guests with pleasant memories of the wedding in India. In the morning you shall take a journey to the Delhi International Airport where our representative will make all the pre-arrangements for your comfortable departure back home. |
